Measurement Verification
RFDA Measurement verification kits are the perfect choice for RFDA users looking to ensure the consistent accuracy of their instrument’s measurement results. Each reference sample comes with a detailed IMCE laboratory test report, complete with the precise settings required to replicate the provided measurements.
Measured values can be compared to the reference values in the test report and are verified when they match within a predefined tolerance range.
Room temperature verification kit
IMCE Art. Ref. 10524
This RFDA measurement verification kit features a high-quality ceramic reference sample, accompanied by a detailed room temperature test report. The test report provides comprehensive data, including the fundamental flexural frequency with the calculated Young’s modulus, and the fundamental torsion frequency with the calculated Shear modulus as well as Poisson’s ratio. These measurements enable successful verification, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of your instrument’s data.
- Material: High quality ceramic
- Sample dimensions (approx.): 80 x 35 x 9 mm
- Measurement temperature: 20°C ±1°C
How to verify your RFDA in a matter of minutes:
- Input Sample Details: Enter the sample’s dimensions and mass into the RFDA software.
- Set Up the Sample: Place the sample on the universal sample support.
- Position Devices: Align the automatic excitation device and microphone to one of the sample’s corners.
- Measure: Conduct the measurement using the RFDA system.
- Verify Results: Compare the measured frequency and Young’s modulus to the reference values.
High temperature verification kit
This RFDA measurement verification kit features a high-quality ceramic reference sample, a detailed test report and reference measurement data for temperatures up to 1500°C. The provided measurement data file includes the fundamental flexural frequency and the calculated Young’s modulus across the full temperature range. Additionally, the kit includes a user-friendly verification toolkit, enabling quick and easy comparison of measured data against the reference values. Verification is successful when the measured data deviates by no more than 5% from the reference data. Periodic verification measurements ensure accurate and reliable instrument performance at elevated temperatures.
