RFDA HT1600-DS
DESCRIPTION
The HT1600-DS furnace is designed to perform impulse excitation measurements at elevated temperatures up to 1600 °C in an air atmosphere or with an inert gasflow (optionally) on 2 samples simultaneously. Measurements can be performed in predefined intervals during heating and cooling (1-5 °C/min) in order to determine the elastic properties and damping as function of the temperature. The adjustable positioning of the excitation system and microphone and the bottom loading of the sample guarantee an optimal sample configuration and manipulation. Optionally, a dilatometer can be mounted on the system to measure the linear expansion simultaneously with the elastic properties.
